Bank of Georgia has rolled out a mobile app update that integrates artificial intelligence into transfer paperwork, the lender said. The change is aimed at cutting the time customers spend preparing outgoing payments.
Shorter forms
According to the bank, users now need to enter only a few core details when starting a transfer. The app then handles much of the remaining data work in the background rather than asking customers to complete long forms manually.
Smart document checks
The main addition is software that reviews transfer parameters and decides which supporting documents apply in each case. Customers receive a ready-made list that may include contracts, transport papers, or other proof required for that specific payment.
The service also checks entered information automatically. If required data or documents are missing, the app is designed to send a notification before the transfer is submitted, allowing users to correct the file in advance.
Digital banking push
Bank of Georgia is one of Georgia’s largest retail lenders and has invested heavily in its mobile platform in recent years. The update fits a wider shift among Georgian banks toward automated compliance checks and faster digital payments for retail and business customers.
