Carrier SkyUP has opened ticket sales for two new routes linking Chisinau with Georgia, targeting the spring and summer 2027 season. The announcement adds another direct air option between Moldova and Georgia's main city and seaside hub.
Schedule and start dates
Flights on the Chisinau–Tbilisi route are scheduled to begin on 25 March 2027. The Chisinau–Batumi service is set to start later in the season, on 3 July 2027.
SkyUP said sales are now live for both routes through the carrier's usual booking channels. Fares and weekly frequency were not detailed in the initial announcement reviewed here.
What it means for travellers
Direct links between Chisinau and Georgia reduce overland travel time for Moldovan visitors and for passengers connecting through the Moldovan capital. Tbilisi is typically the first route to launch, with Batumi following for the peak coastal season.
Georgia has seen several new or expanded regional connections in recent years as carriers adjust networks across the Black Sea and Caucasus corridors.
