According to the narcologist, these substances differ significantly from natural cannabis and pose far severe health risks. The chemical structure of these synthetic blends changes constantly, making their physiological effects highly unpredictable for users.
Sikharulidze emphasized that dangerous health escalations often occur when individuals consume these synthetic compounds alongside central nervous system stimulants like mephedrone or alpha-PVP.
Symptoms and Emergency Protocol
Health professionals advise the public to recognize acute toxicity symptoms, which include sudden behavioral changes, severe mental confusion, muscle seizures, and acute respiratory distress.
In cases where an individual demonstrates these adverse reactions following substance exposure, witnesses are urged to immediately contact the emergency response line 112 for urgent medical assistance.
