Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained a minor in connection with an attempted group murder under aggravating circumstances and the illegal possession and carrying of firearms in Batumi.
The charges stem from an incident on July 22 on Pirosmani Street, where a young man was targeted in a street shooting before the assailants fled the area.
Investigation and Arrests
According to law enforcement officials, the detained teenager drove a motorcycle to transport the shooter to Pirosmani Street. The second suspect then fired several shots at the victim, who was subsequently rushed to a local medical clinic for treatment.
Following the shooting, suspects escaped the scene. Police officers later located and apprehended the minor in Rustavi. The second individual was charged in absentia and placed on an official wanted list.
Physical Evidence Seized
Forensic teams working at the crime scene collected multiple items believed to have been used during the commission of the crime.

Law enforcement authorities confirmed that the investigation remains active as efforts continue to locate the second fleeing suspect.
