Up to 40 commercial objects — including café-bars, bungalows and kiosks — have been dismantled along the Gonio-Kvariati coast.
Most owners removed them voluntarily after warnings from the Batumi Municipal Inspectorate. Seasonal permits had expired.
Coastal infrastructure will be organized before the tourist season begins for a cleaner beach area.
