Georgia's imports of unmanned aerial vehicles rose sharply in the first five months of 2026, according to official trade statistics.
January–May figures
From January to May, 2.1 tonnes of drones entered the country with a combined declared value of $886,000. Volumes remain modest in absolute terms, but imports were up 39.5% compared with the same period in 2025.
The United Arab Emirates was the largest supplier, accounting for more than half of total drone imports by value.

- UAE — $556,000, 900 kg
- Latvia — $100,000, 200 kg
- China — $80,000, 500 kg
- United States — $43,000, 200 kg
- Vietnam — $41,000, 100 kg
- Hungary — $28,000, 200 kg
- Norway — $17,000
For comparison, Georgia imported 5 tonnes of UAVs worth about $2 million over the whole of 2025.
