Those deported held citizenship of Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Turkmenistan, India, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, and the Philippines. Officials said each person received an entry ban after removal.
The ministry did not publish individual case details in the announcement. The action was described as part of routine migration enforcement rather than a named special operation.
Broader enforcement trend
Migration officers have deported more than 2,090 people identified as residing illegally in Georgia so far in 2026, according to official figures cited this week. That count continues a sharp rise in removals compared with recent years.
Georgia has tightened border and residency checks as part of wider migration policy. Foreign residents are required to hold valid visas or permits and to comply with registration rules while in the country.
