Georgia’s Migration Department has expelled 113 foreign nationals in operations carried out in recent days, the Interior Ministry said. Officers worked in close coordination with other ministry units.
Who was removed
According to the ministry, the group included citizens of Russia, Turkey, India, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Kenya, Paraguay, the Philippines, Jordan, Uganda, Lebanon and other states.
Under current law, those removed were also barred from re-entering Georgia. The ministry did not publish individual case details for each expulsion.
Year-to-date enforcement
Officials said 2,203 people identified as illegal migrants have already been expelled from Georgia since the start of 2026. That figure is about 70% higher than the total for the whole of 2025.
The latest batch follows earlier summer enforcement actions, including a 126-person removal reported at the beginning of July. Updates on migration policy and operations are issued through the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
