Georgia and Argentina have agreed a civil aviation cooperation framework, Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency said.
The arrangement is intended to support the liberalisation of air transport and the opening of markets, in line with the two countries’ strategic goals.
Framework for scheduled services
Under the agreement, each side may designate airlines for regular services between the two countries.
The sides may also agree on code-sharing arrangements and develop convenient routes for passengers.
A step toward broader connections
The agreement does not announce a route, carrier or launch date for flights. Any regular service would still depend on airline decisions and operational planning.
For Georgia, the arrangement is another step towards a broader flight network and Georgia–Argentina aviation cooperation.
