The coastal city of Batumi is preparing to host the Food & Wine Fest Batumi 2026, taking place at Europe Square from July 30 through August 2. The four-day summer event brings together regional winemakers, restaurateurs, local producers, and gastronomy enthusiasts to celebrate Georgian culinary traditions alongside international flavors.
Organized with official support from the Cultural Center of Georgia and Batumi City Hall, the festival aims to strengthen cultural and culinary tourism in Adjara during the peak summer season.
Wine Tastings and Gastronomy Zones
Visitors can explore diverse tasting zones featuring both traditional Georgian qvevri wines and experimental vintages from small craft producers. A dedicated gastro zone will highlight classic regional dishes together with contemporary international street food.
In addition to food and beverage stalls, expert sommeliers and professional chefs will host interactive masterclasses on wine pairing and Georgian culinary techniques.
Local Marketplace and Live Entertainment
Throughout the four days, Europe Square will also feature an open-air marketplace showcasing handmade crafts, artisan foods, and regional goods from local entrepreneurs.
An evening program of live music performances will accompany the festival, providing an engaging outdoor cultural space for residents and visitors.
