Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline FlyArystan began flying the Atyrau–Batumi–Atyrau route on 14 July, Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency said.
The seasonal service is scheduled once a week on Tuesdays through 25 August. Tickets are sold on the carrier’s official website at flyarystan.com.
Fourth Kazakh city linked to Batumi
The agency noted that Atyrau is already the fourth city in Kazakhstan with a direct flight to Batumi. Earlier routes connected Batumi with Almaty, Astana and Aktau.
The new link adds another Black Sea option for travellers between western Kazakhstan and Adjara’s main resort city, alongside other summer routes into Batumi covered on Georgia Times.
What travellers should know
Atyrau is a regional hub in western Kazakhstan near the Caspian. A nonstop Batumi rotation can shorten trips that previously required connections via Almaty, Astana or other airports.
Passengers should confirm departure times, baggage rules and any seasonal changes on FlyArystan’s booking channels before travel. Georgia and Kazakhstan have expanded air and diplomatic ties in recent years, including a strategic partnership declaration that framed closer cooperation between the two countries.
