A severe traffic accident on the Batumi bypass road has resulted in one fatality and left another individual injured following a head-on collision between two passenger vehicles.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after two cars collided along the bypass corridor in Adjara. Medical personnel confirmed that one victim died on impact, while the surviving injured individual was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
MIA Launches Legal Investigation
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has initiated an official investigation into the incident. Law enforcement officials opened proceedings under Part 6 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which covers traffic safety or vehicle operation violations resulting in death.
