Georgia received a record 249,201 visits from European Union countries and the United Kingdom between January and June 2026, according to the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The total was 23.4% higher than in the same period of 2025, the administration said.
Record second quarter
The April-to-June quarter also set a new high. Georgia recorded 152,975 visits from EU and UK countries during those three months, up 19.4% year on year.
The figures cover visits rather than unique individual travellers. They underline continued growth in arrivals from European markets during the first half of the year.
Tourism revenue rises
Tourism income from visitors from the EU and the UK reached a record $335.7 million in January–June, the administration reported.
That was $58.6 million, or 21.2%, more than in the corresponding period of 2025. The administration said this was the largest increase in tourism revenue among the source markets cited for the period.
