The US soft drink Dr Pepper has joined the range at Georgia’s Nikora supermarket chain, according to a promotional notice circulating this week. Shoppers can now pick up four flavours: Original, Zero Sugar, Cherry, and Strawberries & Cream.
Nikora is one of the country’s larger grocery networks, with stores across Tbilisi and other cities. The chain’s Georgian-language promo framed the launch as a summer taste choice and marked the cans as news for local shelves.
Four flavours on offer
Original is the classic 23-flavour formula. Zero Sugar is the no-sugar version. Cherry and Strawberries & Cream extend the line with fruit-leaning variants. Cans shown in the promo are 12 oz / 355 ml formats common in export markets.
The notice did not list a nationwide rollout timetable or every store that already has stock. Availability can vary by branch; customers will need to check their local Nikora for shelf presence and price.
Why the soft-drink shelf matters
Imported sodas have long shared cooler space with local brands and regional imports in Georgian supermarkets. A named US label joining a major chain’s assortment is a small retail signal that demand for non-cola flavours remains active among shoppers who want something beyond standard cola and lemonade.
For expats and visitors who grew up with Dr Pepper, the Nikora listing closes a gap that many had filled with occasional airport or specialty buys. For everyone else, it is simply another option next to the usual soft-drink wall.
Nikora and Dr Pepper’s distributor have not issued a detailed English press release with this paste; the report rests on the chain’s Georgian promo and the four named SKUs shown in store marketing.
