Global market prices for primary coffee varieties, including Arabica and Robusta, surged in July to their highest levels since January, according to World Bank trade data cited by international media. Robusta prices rose by 9.1% month-on-month to reach $4.07 per kilogram, while Arabica reached $7.91 per kilogram, marking a 16.5% increase compared to June.

In the local market, Georgia imported 2,273 tons of coffee valued at $26.68 million between January and June 2026, bringing the average import cost to $11.74 per kilogram.
Top Coffee Suppliers to the Georgian Market
During the first six months of the year, Indonesia emerged as Georgia's primary coffee supplier by volume, delivering 1,835 tons valued at $8.03 million. Other top origin countries included Vietnam with 946 tons ($3.972 million), Russia with 517 tons ($4.627 million), Italy supplying 226 tons valued at $3.722 million, and Turkey with 119 tons valued at $1.323 million.
