The Georgian government has reopened an auction for the right to rename Batumi's main football stadium after an earlier round failed to produce a winner.
Current name and timing
The venue is officially known as Adjarabet Arena, though it is also widely called Dinamo Arena. The existing naming-rights agreement expires this month, prompting authorities to launch a second tender.
What the winner receives
The successful bidder will be allowed to give the stadium a new name that must include the word "Arena". Other benefits include:
- Displaying the chosen name on the facade and roof, at the company's own expense
- Lighting the stadium in corporate colours for up to seven hours per week
- Placing up to three advertising banners inside the venue
- One hospitality box and five parking spaces
- Printing the new name on match tickets
Contract terms
The starting price is 1.75 million lari. The contract must take effect no later than 23 July and will run for five years.
The auction is part of a broader effort to monetise high-profile sports infrastructure in Georgia's second-largest city, where football draws strong local interest and tourism traffic along the Black Sea coast.
