Several parked cars on Memed Abashidze Street in Batumi were damaged late on Friday night, according to Ajara Times. An unidentified person is reported to have targeted multiple vehicles in a single incident.

Scene sealed overnight

Yellow police tape closed part of the street while investigators worked into the late hours. An ambulance crew was also present at the cordon. Motives for the attack remain unclear at this stage.

No Interior Ministry reply

Journalists sought an official comment from Georgia’s Interior Ministry throughout the day. The ministry did not answer questions, including whether a formal investigation had been opened.

Property damage of this kind is usually handled as a criminal complaint once owners report it. Until officials respond, the number of cars affected and the extent of the damage have not been confirmed beyond local media accounts.
